Teaching Experience and Credentials

I have extensive teaching, facilitation, and public speaking experience across a variety of settings and audiences (private, non-profit and academic). I have been teaching and speaking at national and international conferences since 2001.

Past and current clients for instruction, training, facilitation and organizational development include Portland State University (PSU), Marylhurst University, the Small Business Development Center at Portland Community College (CLIMB PCC), Unitus Credit Union, the SMART Transit Department of the City of Wilsonville, and a variety of smaller businesses and non-profit organizations.

I have obtained my PhD in psychology and a professional license (MS) as a career counselor from the University of Freiburg, Switzerland. Aside from co-authoring the book, “Heart and Mind: Mastering the Art of Decision Making,” I have published numerous peer-reviewed research articles in the fields of cognitive psychology, neuroscience, decision-making, and coaching techniques.
